Nurse Practitioner- Hospitalist Group-Days

About the role

Providence Medical Center is seeking experienced nurse practitioners to join the daytime hospitalist team to care for patients in an inpatient setting. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an advanced practice provider in the inpatient setting and be comfortable working autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide general care to patients of all ages with patience, care, compassion and understanding.
• Perform tasks within scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians, enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse, preferably Acute Care trained
• BLS upon hire and maintain current
• Two years of experience as a nurse practitioner working inpatient
• Previous experience with electronic health record
• Active MO and KS license and DEA

Schedule

• Full-time days
• 12‑hour shifts (7 am – 7 pm)
• Approximately 18 patients per shift
