Job Brief:Nurse Practitioner, Hem/Onc The hem/onc nurse practitioner will provide independent, direct, and specialized care to patients with oncologic and hematologic disorders. Performs physical examinations, focuses on symptom management for patients while undergoing therapy and provides ongoing follow-up for survivors. Assists with inbox and infusion coverage and works collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members. What You Can Expect Full-time employment A set patient schedule Cover chemotherapy infusion Assist with inbox coverage Provides new patient and follow up care for oncology and hematology patients in acute and ambulatory patient settings. Assess and diagnose patients, formulate, and implement treatment plans, address complex medical conditions. Collaborates with physician(s) and other interdisciplinary team (IDT) members to manage medical needs of patients by performing exam and providing follow-up care. Evaluates medical conditions and issues appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic orders. Develop and participate in patient survivorship programs.
