About the role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated advanced practice provider to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team of 1 physician and 2 APPs
- Call structure: No required call; option to pick up occasional call shifts
- Practice setting: Mixed (Inpatient rounding & Outpatient clinic/infusion coverage)
- Access to: Athena, Sunrise Clinical Manager EMR, and outpatient chemotherapy infusion center
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Responsibilities
- Enhance patient outcomes by rounding on hospitalized oncology patients, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and managing active treatment progress
- Serve as a key clinical resource and collaborative advisor to clinic nurses on treatment protocols and patient care management
- Drive clinical excellence by evaluating outpatients, developing comprehensive cancer treatment plans, and managing complex symptom control

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
- Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
- Master's degree of Nursing required
