Nurse Practitioner Educator

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. Responsibilities

• Perform clinical chart reviews for documentation accuracy
• Apply clinical knowledge to evaluate provider documentation and treatment plans
• Analyze clinical data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
• Communicate with providers to clarify and obtain necessary documentation
• Work with clinicians to enhance the quality of documentation
• Collaborate with team members in the clinical review process
• Meet productivity metrics to assist in achieving departmental goals
• Conduct educational sessions for clinicians and staff
• Partner with various departments for ongoing education on documentation requirements

Qualifications

• Master's degree with active clinical license (APRN or PA) required
• CCDS-O or CDIP certification (required within six months of hire)
• CRC certification (required within one year of hire)
• 5+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (preferred)
• 3+ years of clinical documentation improvement or coding experience required
• 1+ year of experience working with advanced practice providers and clinical teams required
• Solid background in evidence-based medicine, particularly chronic disease management

Pay

$98,000 – $155,000 annually
