About the Role
A Nursing Educator focused on developing, reviewing, and implementing staff training programs while contributing to patient care and treatment planning.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate staff education and recommend program improvements.
- Provide ongoing nursing training aligned with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with infection control and performance improvement teams.
- Assist in patient assessments, screening, and care plan creation for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Participate in Treatment Team meetings with attention to developmental and behavioral considerations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Master's degree preferred).
- Active RN licensure.
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in mental health.
- Expertise in crisis intervention, restraint, and de-escalation techniques.
- Must complete CPI/Verbal De-Escalation and CPR training within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to conduct staff training and work flexible hours.
- Adherence to facility policies, emphasizing confidentiality, service excellence, and regulatory compliance.
