About the Role
RN Educator for Women’s and Infants Service Line, supporting Postpartum and NICU on multiple campuses.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based educational programs, orientations, and ongoing training.
- Facilitate staff development to enhance skills, competencies, and quality of patient-centered care.
- Conduct educational needs assessments and collaborate with leadership to develop competency initiatives.
- Create and document education plans utilizing adult learning principles, including curriculum development and innovative instructional methods such as technology and simulation.
- Maintain documentation of training activities, attendance, evaluations, and competency validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Minimum five years of clinical experience in specialty areas (Postpartum and NICU).
- Active RN licensure.
- Proficiency with Windows, Word, and other applications; additional skills in spreadsheets, databases, and graphics preferred.
Qualifications
- Certification in specialty area preferred.
- Teaching experience preferred.
