About the role

Nurse Manager of the 20-bed Surgical Trauma ICU, responsible for daily operations, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care aligned with current standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and facilitate clinical care within the unit.
• Collaborate on organizational planning, innovations, and evaluation of initiatives.
• Support professional development of staff, students, and colleagues.
• Promote evidence-based practice and integrate research into clinical and operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Create a supportive environment for staff recruitment, retention, and growth.

Requirements

• BSN or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure, with eligibility for licensure in the applicable state.
• National certification in clinical or leadership specialty within one year.
• Minimum five years of recent nursing experience, including two in hospital clinical practice with leadership skills.
• BLS certification.
