About the Role
Oversee a 19-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with a team of 65, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations and coordinate clinical care
- Allocate resources and promote evidence-based practices
- Ensure regulatory compliance and support staff development
- Collaborate with leadership on planning and innovation
- Recruit and retain staff, fostering a positive work environment
Qualifications
- BSN or equivalent required; Master’s degree preferred
- Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- National certification in specialty within one year of hire
- BLS certification
- Minimum five years of recent nursing experience, including two years in clinical hospital leadership
