About the Role
Oversee daily operations of a 20-bed Surgical Trauma ICU, leading and coordinating clinical care to promote safe and high-quality nursing practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate clinical care within the unit.
- Allocate resources and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with leadership on planning, innovation, and evaluation initiatives.
- Support staff development and foster a respectful, professional environment.
- Recruit and onboard new team members.
- Integrate clinical, human resource, and financial data for informed decision-making.
- Advocate for and integrate evidence-based practice and research.
- Manage clinical operations to ensure compassionate, effective patient care.
- Promote evidence-based practices and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to organizational goals and support staff growth.
Requirements
- BSN or equivalent required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (possible eNLC license).
- Obtain national certification within one year of role acceptance.
- Minimum five years of recent nursing experience, including two years in clinical hospital settings with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
