Nurse Manager (RN)

About the role

The Clinical Nurse Manager at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation will oversee assigned nursing personnel, serve as a resource and consultant, and implement hospital and departmental philosophies and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Directs assigned nursing personnel and provides leadership during crises to ensure continuity of care and a productive work environment.
• Maintains and collaborates with others to ensure compliance with approved standards of patient care.
• Evaluates the performance of professional and non-licensed nursing personnel.
• Cooperates in interviewing prospective staff.
• Affirms accountability for documentation, patient family teaching, and discharge planning for assigned patients.
• Contributes to the smooth functioning of the unit by providing direction to staff, other departments, and families as needed.

Requirements

• Valid State RN License required.
• Three to five years experience including supervisory experience required.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program required.
• Certified BLS before hire date required.
• Certified ACLS or completion in first 6 months of employment required.

Qualifications

• CRRN required after meeting eligibility requirements.
• Clinical experience preferred.

Pay

$108,000 - $130,000 yearly based on years of experience.

Schedule

Full-Time Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm *Availability to work nights and weekends*
