The Nurse Manager opportunity at 4G is a 26-bed Medical-Surgical Overflow Unit within Trinity Health Oakland. This position oversees patient care and operates under a 24/7 accountability system.

What the Nurse Manager will need

• State of Michigan Registered Nursing license required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree required
• Master’s degree in nursing, Business or Health Administration preferred
• Minimum of three years’ leadership experience in a related health care setting, five preferred

What the Nurse Manager will do

The Nurse Manager is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include:

• Coordination and evaluation of care
• Teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members
• Therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment
• Serving as a member of the organization’s nursing leadership team
• Day-to-day operations, scheduling, staffing and providing 24/7 accountability for patient care delivery, planning, and evaluation of services
• Review and evaluation of operations and services in accordance with business requirements, marketplace trends and technological needs
• Providing clinical and administrative leadership for planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and evaluating safe, superior and preeminent quality patient care
• Collaborate with and support director and key leaders, groups and stakeholder audiences in the development and implementation of operational plans, goals and objectives
