Nurse Manager - Medical/Surgical

About the role

The Nurse Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional patient experience and fostering a supportive environment for staff to provide high-quality care. The role involves being actively present on the unit to mentor, teach, and support team members, while developing strong relationships with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. The Nurse Manager leads initiatives to improve outcomes related to quality, financial performance, and satisfaction among employees and patients.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, teach, and support team members on the unit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required).
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards, safety, infection control, and staffing processes.

Qualifications

• Two years of leadership experience (preferred).
• Three years of clinical RN practice in acute care (preferred).
