Nurse Manager - Labor & Birth

Role Overview: This position involves supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care in a busy Obstetrics and Mother Baby unit. The nurse collaborates with the Chief Nursing Officer and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resource utilization, meet productivity and financial goals, and enhance patient and staff satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist in managing staff competency and clinical operations within the department.Collaborate effectively with physicians, administrative personnel, and other hospital units to improve communication and processes.Ensure compliance with clinical standards and maintain patient care excellence. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.Current RN license in applicable state.Minimum of three years nursing experience; leadership experience preferred.Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required within 90 days of hire.Strong human relations, communication skills, and clinical expertise in obstetrics and maternal care.
