Nurse Manager - Internal Medicine Specialty Clinic
About the role
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of the daily operations and clinical practice of assigned patient care areas, in order to provide quality, individualized patient care and support of Medical Center philosophies.

Requirements
- Valid California Registered Nurse License without restriction.
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPRA.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), plus either a completed Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field, or active enrollment in a Master’s program with completion required within three (3) years of hire.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing management experience required.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience direct patient care nursing experience in acute care or ambulatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Mechanically inclined, with working knowledge of applicable Standards of Practice.
- Full command (verbal and written) of the English language.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, Title XXII, federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Completed Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field, or active enrollment in a Master’s program with completion required within three (3) years of hire.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), combined with a completed Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN or MS).
- Two (2) years’ nursing management experience.
- Five (5) years’ experience direct patient care nursing experience in acute care or ambulatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Mechanically inclined, with working knowledge of applicable Standards of Practice.
- Full command (verbal and written) of the English language.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, Title XXII, federal and state regulations.

$157,700.00 - $338,900.00
