Position Summary
The Nurse Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for the Cardiovascular Operating Room, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and efficient department operations. This role collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve clinical, quality, and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily CVOR operations, staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Lead and support nursing staff through coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Monitor quality, safety, and patient satisfaction outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Analyze operational and clinical data to drive performance improvement.
- Manage department resources, productivity, and budget goals.
- Foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required. BSN preferred. Master's degree preferred.
- Licensure: Current RN License or RN Temporary Permit in the state of practice.
- Experience: Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience required. Leadership and perioperative/CVOR experience preferred.
