Nurse Extern - Spine

About the Role

As a Nurse Extern, you will support the nursing team by providing direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), vital signs, wound and catheter care, and documenting care activities. You will help patients and families understand care plans, maintain a safe environment, and participate in learning opportunities to develop your nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient care tasks and basic procedures
• Documenting care accurately and communicating updates
• Supporting patient comfort, hygiene, and mobility
• Engaging in growth and care improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
