About the Role
Support nursing teams with patient care in a hospital setting, gaining hands-on experience and growth opportunities while working as a Nurse Extern PRN.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living for patients
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Support patient mobility and comfort
- Perform basic procedures such as wound and catheter care
- Document care accurately and communicate updates to the nursing team
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Engage in learning opportunities to develop nursing skills and advance professionally
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment
