About the Role
This role offers hands-on experience to develop nursing skills, support patient recovery, and prepare for advanced responsibilities in nursing practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care including activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with patient mobility and hygiene
- Provide wound and catheter care
- Collect specimens
- Document patient care activities
- Deliver patient education
- Follow infection control protocols
- Manage and maintain medical equipment
- Support the nursing team
Requirements
- Completed at least 1 year of nursing school or as required by state
- Current NC CNA registry
- Preferred experience in acute care
