Nurse Extern - Orthopedics

We are seeking a Nurse Extern to support our nursing team by delivering essential patient care and contributing to a compassionate healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for patients
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Provide wound care and collect specimens
• Ensure patient comfort and safety
• Document care provided and communicate updates to the nursing team
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health practices
• Maintain infection control protocols
• Collaborate with supervisors to promote professional growth and skill development

Requirements

• Completion of at least one year of nursing school
• Current listing on the North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (NC CNA) registry

Qualifications

• Preferred: One or more years of experience in an acute care setting
• Motivation to develop clinical skills and advance in a nursing career
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
