About the role
Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team. The vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to local communities, enhancing the health of individuals served.
Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of a board-certified radiologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures on infants, children, adolescents, adults, and later adults.
- Ensure quality images of all appropriate anatomical structures for interpretation by the responsible radiologist.
- Maintain ALARA principles at all times.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited 2 or 4-year Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- ARRT and/or CNMT certification through the NMTCB.
- 3+ years of previous experience in a general Nuclear Medicine department preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong educational background in medical technology.
- Excellent technical skills in computer-based applications and Microsoft Office.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and family members.
- Experience instructing students and precepting new colleagues.
Skills
- Exceptional patient care focus.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong teaching abilities.
- Ability to develop and implement imaging protocols.
