About the role

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team. The vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to local communities, enhancing the health of individuals served.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of a board-certified radiologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures on infants, children, adolescents, adults, and later adults.
  • Ensure quality images of all appropriate anatomical structures for interpretation by the responsible radiologist.
  • Maintain ALARA principles at all times.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited 2 or 4-year Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • ARRT and/or CNMT certification through the NMTCB.
  • 3+ years of previous experience in a general Nuclear Medicine department preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong educational background in medical technology.
  • Excellent technical skills in computer-based applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and family members.
  • Experience instructing students and precepting new colleagues.

Skills

  • Exceptional patient care focus.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong teaching abilities.
  • Ability to develop and implement imaging protocols.
