Nuclear Medicine Technologist- Per Diem

About the role
Performs imaging procedures and provides patient services using imaging modalities. Participates in orientation and continuing education, updating and maintaining knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures using various imaging modalities
- Provide patient services in a clinical setting with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions, or secretions
- Maintain and update knowledge and skills through continuing education
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of formal imaging training in an AMA-approved school
- Meets requirements for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- New York State Department of Health License
- Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical dexterity and ability
Physical Demands
- Heavy work involving continual and repetitive motions
- Heavy lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing
- Prolonged walking and standing
Pay
Pay range: $44.40 - $70.02 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.
