About the role

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team. The position involves working under the direction of a board certified radiologist, performing nuclear medicine procedures on various patient groups, and ensuring high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a board certified radiologist
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures of varying complexities on infants, children, adolescents, adults, and later adults
• Maintain ALARA principles at all times
• Deliver exceptional patient care, prioritizing the needs of patients
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and family members
• Instruct students and precept new colleagues as assigned
• Educate patients and family members about their care
• Draft and implement imaging protocols to ensure image quality
• Use computer-based applications and standard office software
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited 2 or 4-year Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• ARRT and/or CNMT certification from the NMTCB
• 3+ years of previous experience in a general Nuclear Medicine department preferred
