About the role
Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team. The position involves working under the direction of a board certified radiologist, performing nuclear medicine procedures on various patient groups, and ensuring high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of a board certified radiologist
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures of varying complexities on infants, children, adolescents, adults, and later adults
- Maintain ALARA principles at all times
- Deliver exceptional patient care, prioritizing the needs of patients
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and family members
- Instruct students and precept new colleagues as assigned
- Educate patients and family members about their care
- Draft and implement imaging protocols to ensure image quality
- Use computer-based applications and standard office software
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited 2 or 4-year Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- ARRT and/or CNMT certification from the NMTCB
- 3+ years of previous experience in a general Nuclear Medicine department preferred
