NTC Training Coordinator

About the Role
The Training Coordinator provides administrative registration, virtual producer, and learning management system (LMS) support to the training department manager and their assigned program. Possible programs include Enterprise Learning and Development (ELD). This position assists in department administration and course preparation activities according to NTC procedures and serves as the main point of contact for all customer service requests. This role may also serve as a backup training coordinator for other programs as needed.
This position falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA).
Responsibilities
- Coordinates, tracks, and monitors training and special program assignments, schedules, and meetings.
- Documents and distributes meeting notes.
- Schedules meetings and events.
- Supports training preparation activities for instructor-led and virtual deliveries according to NTC procedures.
- Routinely carries out recurring duties and assignments.
- Establishes, organizes, and maintains printed and electronic records in compliance with Records Information and Disposition requirements.
- Serves as the main point of contact for all customer service requests.
- Provides registration support to DOE personnel following established procedures and desktop guides.
- Maintains familiarity and proficiency with job-related software (e.g., Adobe Connect, Microsoft Suite, Vision).

- Participation in IB3's Workplace Substance Abuse Program (WSAP), including random drug testing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. (required).
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college, university, business, or technical-vocational school (preferred).
- Two (2) or more years of administrative support experience related to or comparable to the position (preferred).
- Experience supporting government (ideally DOE) agencies and programs (preferred).
- Knowledge of computer security practices and procedures.
- Ability to screen various types of documents, verify accuracy and completeness of data, and track and correct discrepancies.
- Experience maintaining a master database, performing arithmetic computations, making adjustments, and reconciling data.
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Cisco WebEx, Adobe Connect).
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Teams).
- Ability to learn new software features quickly and effectively.
- Strong customer service experience.
Working Conditions
- Position is 100% on-site at the NTC facilities on Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM. Remote work is not permitted.
- This is a salaried, nonexempt position. Overtime hours must be expressly authorized in writing by the IB3 Program Manager.
- Candidate must be able to sit for long periods and regularly converse with coworkers.
- Candidate may be required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Candidate may occasionally be required to stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
Background Check & Drug Test
Candidates accepting a job offer will be required to pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening. The drug screening will involve a 10-panel urine test. All employees are subject to random drug testing without advance notification during their employment. The background investigation may involve verifying or reviewing Social Security Number, criminal history, prior employment, and educational history.
Pay
$52,000 per year.
