NP/PA - Nocturnist APP- Ludington, MI
Corewell Health Ludington Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their hospital medicine practice, caring for patients as part of a busy nocturnist team. Both Physician Assistants (PAs) and Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are encouraged to apply. Experience is preferred but not required.
About the role
Work alongside a well-established physician group, additional APPs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and success. The position involves:
- Six twelve-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) over a two-week period, with no call requirements
- A robust ramp-up and orientation process
- Access to a Virtual Nocturnist for consultation after 7:00 PM

Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner
- Master’s degree required
- NP education and certification (post-2000) from a program accredited by CCNE or NLNAC
- 3 years of relevant, current clinical experience preferred
- Previous experience functioning in a collaborative NP role preferred
- Michigan NP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Physician Assistant
- Master’s degree required; graduate of an accredited PA program
- Michigan PA license
- PA-C certification through NCCPA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
