Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing services under the direction of a RN, including medication administration, wound care, patient education, monitoring changes in condition, and documenting patient progress.
- Help patients maintain independence while promoting comfort, safety, and healing.
- Work alongside nurses, therapists, physicians, and caregivers to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and families while promoting independence, improving outcomes, and ensuring compassionate, patient centered care.
Qualifications
Must Have
- Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
Nice To Have
- Previous experience working in home health, hospice, or a similar caregiving environment
- Familiarity with KanTime Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Wound care/Wound Vac experience
Pay
Salary Range: $35.00-$45.00 per hour - based on experience
