Responsibilities

Sales Leadership:

• Work directly with Guests, recommending, selecting, and locating merchandise based on Guest needs.
• Support store management with recruiting, training, and development.
• Contribute to the overall sales strategy of the store, including visual merchandising, sales demonstration, and coaching.
• Perform sales floor coverage.

Sales Teammate:

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs and desires.

Operations, Freight, and Store Support:

• Manage promotions and ensure signage is displayed appropriately.
• Complete pulls and markdowns.
• Help with the hiring and onboarding process.
• Complete Guest Transactions by operating the Point of Sales.
• Aid operations manager as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store.

Visual Merchandising Partner:

• Discuss and plan store layouts with store leadership.
• Create design flow of the merchandise, including product rotation and markdown placement.
• Educate the reasons driving visual strategies to Buckle leadership.

Seamstress/Tailor:

• Perform alterations using Buckle provided sewing machine and supplies.
• Work 2-5 hours per week.

Qualifications

Sales Leadership:

• Positive, passionate personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.

Sales Teammate:

• Positive, enthusiastic personality.
• Ability to interact with guests in a friendly manner.
• Attention to detail and ability to answer questions about the store and merchandise.

Operations, Freight, and Store Support:

• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Visual Merchandising Partner:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with store leadership.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising principles and best practices.

Seamstress/Tailor:

• Basic sewing skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
