North America Field Marketing Manager (f/m/d)
About the role
Full ownership of US events & trade shows: end-to-end responsibility for the US event calendar, including trade shows, conferences, partner events, roadshows, and webinars. This spans planning, budgeting, booth logistics, staffing, lead capture, and post-event ROI reporting. Booth design and creative are provided by HQ, while in-market delivery is entirely your responsibility.
US partnerships & co-operations: identify, qualify, and build the strategy for US partners—such as associations, dealer groups, re-marketing platforms, and media partners. Lead early-stage engagement and coordinate sign-off with the Head of Growth Marketing and the CEO of AVILOO Inc. before activating co-marketing and reseller deals.
Brand alignment & market input: apply AVILOO’s global brand and messaging with judgment, avoiding local variants. Provide structured market intelligence on positioning, objections, competitive moves, and PR opportunities to Product Marketing, Content, and PR teams at HQ.
Structured input into central growth programs: ABM, demand generation, paid media, and SEO are centrally planned and executed. You shape these programs through a defined monthly planning cadence with the Demand & ABM Manager, refining the US target account list and reviewing local copy before it goes live.
Local materials & field sales support: brief HQ, manage local print and production vendors, and ensure collateral, booth graphics, and sales kits are delivered to the field. Provide day-to-day support for the North American sales team with references, case studies, and event follow-up.
Budget ownership & reporting: plan, forecast, and track budgets for US events, partnerships, and local materials end-to-end. Report monthly on pipeline contribution, spend, and field-owned KPIs such as qualified event leads and cost per opportunity.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or regional marketing—ideally in B2B technology, automotive, or automotive services.
- A proven track record of owning a regional event program end-to-end, including trade shows, vendors, logistics, budgets, and measurable follow-up.
- Strong stakeholder skills across time zones and comfort operating in a matrix: keep a local CEO and a functional lead in Europe aligned on the same plan and escalate early when priorities diverge.
- Solid understanding of the North American automotive, dealer, re-marketing, auction, and fleet landscape—or the ability to get there fast.
- Hands-on experience managing local vendors, agencies, and production partners, and building partnerships from first contact through to a signed framework.
- A commercial mindset: think in terms of pipeline and cost per opportunity, track spend against forecast, and are comfortable with CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within North America and to our headquarters in Austria.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- BA/MA in marketing, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Genuine interest in electric mobility.
Benefits
- The chance to build AVILOO’s field presence in our most important growth market, backed by an established global brand and a central team that produces campaigns and creatives for you.
- Be part of a growing US team based in/around Los Angeles. Initially, the role is fully remote, with the opportunity to collaborate in-person once the office is set up (currently in planning).
- Full ownership of the US event and cooperation calendar, including budgets—real money and decision-making scope, not a request queue.
- Direct line into the marketing leadership team at HQ with short paths and fast decisions.
- An innovative, performance- and team-oriented work environment where success is celebrated together.
- Creative freedom in a company poised for significant revenue growth in the coming years.
- AI is at the core of how we work and think about the future. We seek people genuinely excited about this—not just comfortable using AI tools but interested in what becomes possible when you build around them.
- Reliable work-life balance—personally guaranteed by the CEO.
Pay
The compensation package starts at $80,000 gross per year. Depending on your qualifications and experience, we are open to adjusting compensation accordingly.
