Non CDL - Box Truck Driver

Richards Building Supply Co. is seeking a Non-CDL Driver for our Wilmington, NC location. Box truck driving and forklift experience desired, but willing to train. Opportunity for overtime on Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to job sites and physically unload material per the customer's request.
• Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
• Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries, ensuring compliance with securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to their designated area.

Requirements

• 1 year of box truck delivery driving experience.
• Ability to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day; some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Heavy lifting experience.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.
