Non CDL - Box Truck Driver

About the role

Richards Building Supply Co. is seeking a Non CDL Driver for their Poughkeepsie, NY location. The ideal candidate must have a CDL B or valid Driver's License, and forklift experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to job sites and physically unload material as requested by customers.
• Load trucks with materials scheduled for the day’s deliveries, ensuring compliance with weight limits as per DOT regulations.
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to their designated areas.

Requirements

• Able to lift 50-100 lbs. throughout the day, with occasional lifting over 100 lbs.
• At least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record.
• Heavy lifting experience.
• Pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B or Class C/Drivers License.
• Box Truck driving experience.
• Forklift experience required.
