Non-CDL Box Truck Driver

About the role

Location: 225 Solar Dr, Imperial, PA. Picture yourself as a van delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. You’ll be traveling locally and home every day, and you’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs throughout your shift. Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers
• Deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and other accounts
• Travel locally and return home each day
• Unload cases weighing up to 100 lbs throughout the shift

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid commercial driver’s license
• One year of previous driving experience
• One year of experience in customer service or a related field
• Ability to operate a two‑wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company information, complete paperwork, follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test (including marijuana) and background check
• Maintain a clean driving record per DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• If currently employed by a Gordon Food Service customer, provide a letter of support from management if selected for interview

Pay

$21 per hour (plus bonuses and guarantees)

Schedule

Monday–Friday; start time between 3 AM and 5 AM, working until the route is finished.
