NMCI/NGEN Special Projects Lead

How Role will make an impact

• Aid Navy Regions in obtaining and removing NMCI seats within specific timelines.
• Collaborate with PM NEN to secure funding and resolve issues to facilitate successful NMCI/NGEN deployments.
• Develop and suggest alternative solutions to problems outside standard NMCI, NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET), eMarketplace, and ordering processes.
• Ensure CNIC regions have access to training for reviewing and approving NMCI invoices.
• Maintain a high 98% on-time review approval rate for CNIC invoices across all regions/installations.
• Help expedite NMCI Mod and Order approvals by ACOs when delays occur.
• Monitor and ensure CNIC NGEN/NMCI funding is processed through appropriate government programs.
• Manage CNIC’s Dormant/DE-obligation Accounts Program, canceling unused accounts.
• Coordinate recovery of DE-obligated funding with FMB, PM NEN, and OPNAV N2N6.
• Coordinate CNIC’s Technical Refresh program with PM NEN, ensuring timely computer refreshes.

What you’ll need to have

• Credential: Active Secret Clearance.
• Education: College degree or four years of equivalent work experience in IT principles, concepts, and methodology.
• Experience: Two years managing records and document control, including manual and automated systems and software for database and project management.
• Specific Experience: Three years ordering, tracking, and validating NMCI seats and services, two years with PM NEN, Navy Flank Speed experience, and proficiency in creating data analytics via MS Excel.
