Nitrogen Operator

Position Summary This position is responsible for analyzing specifications while ensuring continuous operation of nitrogen processing equipment to produce product in a safe and reliable manner. Duties include, but are not limited to, monitoring control devices, troubleshooting, and identifying and controlling potential hazards associated with production. Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate Degree or vocational/technical training in mechanical related field preferred Experience Requirements Demonstrated knowledge of advanced mathematicsExcellent troubleshooting and problem solving skillsAbility to effectively interact and communicate with team membersFluent in English, oral and written requiredAbility to adjust schedule to meet business needs Major Accountabilities Load rail cars and tank trucks which requires use of connection and disconnection of loading hosesMonitor recording instruments, flow meters, panel lights and other indicators while listening for warning signals to verify conformity of process conditionsRegulate control settings and make necessary adjustments on equipmentControl or operate chemical processes or systems of machines using panel boards, control boards, or semi-automatic equipmentAccurately read and record operating data including instrument readings, process conditions and test resultsAnalyze operating data to determine equipment operating efficiencyRegulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations, as directed by supervisory personnelAbility to work rotating shift schedulesMust be able to climb stairways, ladders and work on elevated platforms and pipe racks at elevations over 200 feetMust be able to work outside in all weather conditionsRegularly communicate with supervisor work progress, concerns and questions Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
