Night Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage overnight / night operations of the warehouse, including returns, receiving, put away, transfers, restock, freight, parcels, and conversion.
• Lead night warehouse team to deliver unparalleled customer service.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy in overnight / night operations.
• Support Night Manager
• Create a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open and directing workforce to insure efficient workflow.
• Perform general physical activities such as load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
• Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments.
• Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using a pallet jack or forklift.
• Use a pick sheet to find individual items inside the warehouse.
• Breakdown and restack merchandise from pallets.
• Verify quantity of the products.
• Ensure items pick accurately and safely to prevent damage.
• Keep the warehouse tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets.
• Maintain a food-safe environment.
• Report any damaged equipment to shift supervisor or maintenance staff.

Requirements

• Power Pallet Jacks: Required
• Night Shift: Required
• Must be able to work effectively with other employees, and other departments within the company.
• Overnight Shift: 6:00PM until Finish
• Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
• Must be able to work in 35 to 70-degree temperatures.
