The Warehouse Night Lead is primarily responsible for assisting the Manager and Supervisor with replenishment, receiving, other basic warehouse functions, be a trainer for new hires and other duties as assigned. Schedule is Monday through Friday 4:30 p.m. to completion or as business needs dictate. This is a labor-intensive role where team members will be responsible for moving stock repeatedly throughout the shift both manually and with equipment. Job Description Assist manager with direction of activities of all warehouse associates in their respective areas including loading, unloading, and replenishment.Liaison between employee and managersInfluence and motivate peers to achieve goalsAssist manager with directing workflowAssist manager with monitoring employee(s) productivity and accuracy to ensure efficiencyResponsible for meeting productivity goals for the positionBe proficient in all work areas for the shiftUtilize warehouse management system to locate product in the warehouse while ensuring inventory accuracy and controlSafely operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move productEnsure a safe work environmentOther duties as assigned Job Requirements Warehouse experienceBasic math skills are requiredExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience with warehouse equipment including forklifts, stock pickers and pallet jacksAbility to operate and maintain equipment in a safe mannerMust have excellent leadership and communication skillsProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Warehouse management systems, Workday software experience desiredAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environmentAbility to safely lift 40-60 lbs. REPEATEDLYMust be able to work assigned hours, Monday - FridayMust be available to meet scheduling requirements which may include additional hours/days without advance noticeMust be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and Fit for duty testing. The expected pay rate for this role is $25.00.
