Night Warehouse Lead

The Warehouse Night Lead assists the Manager and Supervisor with replenishment, receiving, and other warehouse functions, serves as a trainer for new hires, and performs additional duties as assigned.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to completion or as business needs dictate. Must be available to meet scheduling requirements which may include additional hours or days without advance notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager with direction of activities of all warehouse associates in their respective areas including loading, unloading, and replenishment
• Serve as liaison between employees and managers
• Influence and motivate peers to achieve goals
• Assist manager with directing workflow
• Monitor employee productivity and accuracy to ensure efficiency
• Meet productivity goals for the position
• Be proficient in all work areas for the shift
• Utilize warehouse management system to locate product and ensure inventory accuracy and control
• Safely operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move product
• Ensure a safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Warehouse experience
• Basic math skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with warehouse equipment including forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Warehouse management systems and Workday software experience desired
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs repeatedly
• Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and Fit for Duty testing

Pay

$25.00 per hour.
