Night Auditor

Job Description

The Night Auditor will oversee the auditing, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions. Specific responsibilities include:

• Performing audits, postings, and balancing of daily financial transactions
• Assisting teams when needed, adhering to the "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION." philosophy
• Engaging in internal growth programs and exemplifying the company's culture
• Maintaining confidentiality of business functions and ensuring guest and employee safety
• Communicating effectively and working independently to support hotel operations
• Providing personalized, friendly service to guests and associates
• Ensuring cash drawer security and maintaining balance throughout the shift
• Selling and upselling rooms to walk-in guests and phone reservations
• Keeping informed about the surrounding area and handling guest and employee requests
• Completing tasks as outlined on the shift checklist
• Checking credit of guest accounts daily and following up as necessary

Necessary Skills

• Knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Physical abilities to perform tasks for 8 hours and work in a restricted space

• Memory for property computer systems to ensure smooth operations
