Job Description
The Night Auditor will oversee the auditing, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions. Specific responsibilities include:
- Performing audits, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions
- Assisting teams when needed, embodying the "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION." philosophy
- Engaging in internal growth programs and exemplifying the company's culture
- Maintaining confidentiality of business functions and ensuring safety and security
- Communicating effectively, working independently, and serving as a key role for overnight hotel support
- Completing required training and adhering to standard operating procedures and property-specific brand standards
- Providing personalized, friendly service to guests and associates
- Balancing the day’s business in a neat, orderly, and timely manner
- Working all night shifts and being available for other shifts at the front desk
- Knowing all hotel systems including phone PBX, key lock, and PMS reservation systems
- Completing tasks on the relevant shift checklist
- Checking credit of guest accounts daily and following up if necessary
- Selling and upselling rooms to walk-in guests and phone reservations
- Having general knowledge of housekeeping

- Able to remember property computer systems to ensure customers can be checked in and out, make adjustments to reservations, review balances, and other needed computer-related items per brand training
- Clear, understandable voice, hearing at a basic level, and understanding English
- Able to write effectively to communicate shift and guest needs
