Night Auditor

Responsibilities

• Balancing nightly audit duties, daily paperwork, and shift reports.
• Attending to guest needs such as check-in/check-out, making reservations, and answering guest questions.
• Proactively thinking about guest security and creating a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.
• Counting cash and ensuring the accuracy of the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Checking the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc.
• Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests.
• Processing guest registrations, including collecting payment.
• Preparing express checkout folios.
• Maintaining room status inventory.
• Communicating shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff.
• Maintaining and cleaning the lobby and bathroom as needed.
• Communicating pertinent shift information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition.
• Working closely with all hotel departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Answering inquiries about hotel services, registration, and providing information on in-room and hotel features.
• Completing required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a hospitality setting preferred.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Pay

Pay is $16.00/hr.
