Responsibilities
- Completes all nightly audit functions
- Aids guests with check-ins and check-outs
- Processes reservations and responds to guest inquiries
- Counts cash and maintains the accuracy of the cash drawer
- Checks the front desk log for problems and special requests
- Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests
- Prepares express checkout folios
- Maintains room status inventory
- Communicates shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and desk staff
- Maintains and cleans the lobby and bathroom as needed
- Communicates shift information to the next shift
- Works closely with all hotel departments for customer service
- Answers inquiries about hotel services, registration, and local attractions
- Explains in-room and hotel features
- Completes required shift paperwork and night audit reports
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proactive thinking and guest security awareness
- High level of service delivery
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and friendliness in the workplace
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
