Night Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations and ensure accurate daily financial reporting. In this role, you'll assist guests with late check-ins, reconcile the day’s transactions, and prepare reports for management. Ideal candidates are organized, trustworthy, and enjoy working independently in a quiet, overnight setting.

Responsibilities

• Audit guest accounts and process night audit reports
• Reconcile the day’s transactions to ensure financial accuracy
• Assist with guest check-ins and checkouts during overnight hours
• Prepare reports for management

You will report to the Front Office Manager or Director of Finance/Controller. A career as a night auditor can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as front office supervisor, front office manager, or even a position in hotel accounting or finance.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or one year of hotel experience
• Previous experience in a similar or related position (or a combination of education and experience)
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
