About the role
The Night Auditor is responsible for running all overnight duties at the Front Desk, completing Night Audit procedures, and maintaining guest hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Complete Night Audit procedures from Fosse
- Listen intently to each guest, focusing directly on them during each interaction
- Use aggressive hospitality skills, including smiling and greeting guests, speaking warmly and courteously, displaying genuine interest, anticipating guest needs, and being flexible in responding to them
- Be knowledgeable about the job and learn to take ownership of guest problems and resolve them
- Maintain and promote Guest Hospitality at all times
- Stock the lobby market on a daily basis
- Ensure that equipment at the Front Desk is in working order and report any failures immediately
- Have knowledge of the hotel's day-to-day selling strategy and promotions
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and be in proper uniform at all times
- Pass on all relevant information to the following shift manager or supervisor
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret safety-related documents and speak effectively to customers and associates
- Hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
- Business and weather determine the amount of hours worked
- Carry out all reasonable requests by management
