About the role
The Night Audit Agent is responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work, front desk operation during the overnight shift, and communicating in a welcoming and efficient manner to ensure guests’ needs are properly addressed. Primary responsibilities include registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and monitoring guest communications.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and complete the end-of-day process and run necessary reports.
- Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
- Maintain cashiering responsibilities as per Front Office procedures.
- Maintain Front Office computer system operation according to company standards.
- Follow safety and emergency procedures according to resort standards.
- Maintain proper record keeping (e.g., logbooks) according to company standards.
- Be familiar with all company policies and house rules.
- Maintain radio contact with other employees during the entire shift.
- Ensure employees are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow associates.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports.
- Fulfill all Front Office functions between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- College coursework in a related field helpful.
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license; motor vehicle background check will be completed.
- Flexible schedule; required to work weekends and/or holidays.

- Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and comfort with electronics.
- Able to work with and understand financial information, data, and basic arithmetic functions.

Pay
$22.00 per hour (full-time, hourly).
Schedule
Overnight shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
