NICU Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have completed an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program and successfully obtained NNP/PA Certification.

• NCC (National Certification Corporation) for NNPs is required.
• NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) for PAs is required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid clinical experience, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Maryland licensure or eligibility is required.

• New graduate Neonatal NPs are encouraged to apply.

Work Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years of neonatal nursing experience for NNP candidates is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of work in a NICU/FTN for PA candidates or successful completion of Neonatal PA Residency/Fellowship is required.
