New York Store Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain stores within your district, including customer service and property maintenance.
• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face to face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Rent self-storage units, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments using the Point-of-Sale System (POS), complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Perform daily walks of the property, clean units and store grounds, open and close storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Maintain facility including mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
• Keep a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines (e.g., clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, storage doors that are clean and tidy, and neat decluttered office space).

Qualifications

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Physical requirements: frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Pay

$19.00 – $21.00 per hour depending on experience plus bonus opportunities.
