New York Store Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain stores within your district, including customer service and property maintenance.
• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face to face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Rent self-storage units, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments using the Point-of-Sale System (POS), complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Perform daily walks of the property, clean units and store grounds, open and close storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Maintain facility including mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
• Keep a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines (e.g., clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, clean and tidy storage doors, and a neat, decluttered office space).

Qualifications

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Frequent requirement to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Pay

$19.00 – $21.00 per hour depending on experience, plus bonus opportunities.
