New York Store Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain stores within your district, requiring skills in both customer service and property maintenance.
• Customer Service
  • Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
  • Interact face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
  • Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
  • Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
  • Work both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Property Maintenance
  • Perform daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening, and closing of the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Maintain facility which includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
  • Keep a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines (i.e., clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, storage doors that are clean and tidy, and
