About the role
The Winston Taylor structured finance group is seeking a mid-level associate with 3-6 years of strong structured finance deal experience. The ideal candidate should have a focus in structured finance, lending, securitization, or similar finance structures, particularly in residential mortgage finance and other consumer finance related industries. Experience across various asset types and structures is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on complex financial transactions
- Assisting in the negotiation and drafting of legal documents
- Managing and coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Participating in client meetings and presentations
- Conducting due diligence and compliance reviews
Requirements
- Admission to the state bar of the preferred office location
- Strong academic background in law
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Experience in structured finance, lending, securitization, or similar finance structures
- Knowledge of residential mortgage finance and other consumer finance related industries
- Experience across a variety of asset types and structures
