New York Office -Finance (Residential Mortgage Finance)

About the role

Winston & Strawn is seeking a mid-level associate to join its structured finance group. The ideal candidate should have 3-6 years of strong structured finance deal experience at a law firm with a focus on structured finance, lending, securitization, or similar finance structures, particularly in residential mortgage finance and other consumer finance related industries.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on complex financial transactions
• Participating in the negotiation and drafting of legal documents
• Assisting in the structuring and documentation of various asset types and structures
• Managing client relationships and providing legal advice

Requirements

• Admission to the state bar of the preferred office location
• Strong academic background with a focus on finance or law
• Experience in structured finance, lending, securitization, or related finance structures
• Knowledge of residential mortgage finance and other consumer finance related industries
