New York Attorney – Workers’ Compensation (Paramus, NJ Office)

Lois Law Firm is seeking a New York-barred attorney to join our growing litigation practice, where you will defend some of America's most iconic employers in New York workers' compensation actions, out of our Paramus, New Jersey office. This role requires a willingness to stand up for your clients, to be an advocate, and to ensure a fair court process for all parties. You will have significant client contact and opportunities to present creative strategies in court.

Responsibilities

• Represent client interests at virtual hearings and telephonic depositions;
• Counsel clients on emerging issues in litigated matters;
• Prepare exposure analysis and conduct settlement negotiations;
• Consistently apply firm standards and tactics to achieve client goals.

Requirements

• New York-barred Attorney;
• Passion for litigating and a desire to dominate a specialist niche.

Compensation

At LOIS, all attorneys have a base salary with clear fixed bonuses in place. We set an annual billable budget based on your preferences, beginning at 1,852 per year.

Schedule

• Hybrid schedule with three in-office and two at-home days each week, after an initial onboarding and integration period;
• Ability to work in our New York or New Jersey office depending on where you live;
• Assigned work-from-office and work-from-home days for greater flexibility.
