New York - Accounting and Finance Professionals – Senior Associates, Associate Managers & Managers

About the role

We are seeking experienced accounting and finance professionals to join our team. Ideal candidates should have a background in accounting or finance, preferably from large CPA firms with 2+ years of experience, including at least one busy season as a senior. Candidates should also have a strong interest in expanding their skill set and gaining valuable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Tackle unique, challenging, and one-of-a-kind projects for major corporations
• Participate in IPO readiness, mergers and acquisitions, and carve-outs
• Contribute to the growth of the local office and the Firm overall
• Engage in business development and recruiting activities

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
• Experience as an external auditor from large CPA firms
• Proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) rules and standards
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, etc.)

Qualifications

• CPA or progress towards CPA certification
• Corporate accounting and/or finance experience at a large public corporation
